Earthquake

Since we lost sandstorm, why not have something else as a substitute for it?

Earthquake, a command, that attacks everything in the room. You summon it, and every few seconds/minutes it continues to do damage to everyone in the room? Depending on yer skills, it does more damage and lasts longer? It could use: Misc, earth, and attack?

I don't really think a storm should have that kind of power.
Most of their commands draw from the weather. not the manipulation of earth and matter.

"Storm" ... earthquake...

I can't recall a storm ever causing an earthquake, but the reverse may have occurred.

You have earth skill, I just don't recall what it was for. So fill me in, but not in the earth.

(I think quicksand would be neat.)

It was for sandstorm, but it will be nice if it was back in play and actually recoded into something useful.

Why not just ask for an improved version of hailstorm?

Storms already have some good attack commands: efficient gattack (ice), power gattack (lightning), area gattack (hail). The addition of a power/area gattack might even them out.

I agree with Lucid about spheres specific to weather (more specifically air mastery with some partial manipulation of the other elemental spheres) as the basis of Stormlords. Maybe someday a broader group will showup and take the place of mages--giving Stormlords the dominant subbranch.
