I propose that studying a vial of alcohol should not ruin the vial.

How about letting us study weapons and armour so we can workup crafting?

That sounds ridiculous to do such a thing.
Only a warrior would inspect his/her armor and weapon for upgrade possibilities.

While those things are mentioned in crafting, they are not meant for druids.

Inspecting of items would be a command to check guild specific items for damage--even if we do not really allow damage yet--.

The idea about getting to keep a vial of alcohol after testing it seemed straightforward enough: if I test some wine the bottle is not going to poof.

Nah, I am pretty sure that if you tested a bottle of wine it would poof--you drunkard. Now, if it was some vial that wasn't shaped like a bottle of wine I could see it surviving a test.

Study of items seems like it should be accross the board, unless some class restrictions are added. Add to the study of items the commands for disassembling and reassembling and crafting is done (hahahahaha).

Now, who has the keg?
